Symmetry

As part of our Geometry unit, we learned about symmetry. After reading The Emperor's New Clothes, we acted out scenes from the story using symmetrical body movements. We looked to Hans Christian Andersen for inspiration. Not only was Andersen a talented story teller, he was also a talented paper cutter:
The students created paper cuttings inspired by The Emperor's New Clothes
and wrote about whether or not their artwork was symmetrical.
